According to VN Economy newspaper, in the first quarter of 2022, agricultural production had mixed movements in industry groups.
Fisheries and forestry have positive growth.
Farming and livestock are more difficult.
However in terms of overall results, the industry still grew by 2.45% over the same period.
Export situation of agricultural products in early 2022
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first quarter of the year was estimated at 12.8 billion USD, up 15.3% over the same period last year. Up to this point, the whole agricultural industry had a trade surplus of about 3 billion USD, 3.1 times higher than the same period last year.
